Lamprobe

Lamprobe, is one of the most sought-after treatments for eliminating minor skin irregularities. Named after its inventor Hubert Lam, it is a non-invasive procedure that uses vaporisation to treat (remove) minor skin abnormalities. This treatment utilises radio and high frequency technology to produce current that is attracted to liquids in the skin and effectively treats a wide range of common minor skin conditions, non-invasive, quickly and cost effective making lesions such as blood spots or even small skin tags disappear.

A high frequency, radio wave current is conducted and attracted to the liquids on the skin’s surface, or within the skin irregularity. This technology enables our Aesthetic Practitioner to treat skin abnormalities without penetrating the skin’s surface.

Results with Lamprobe can be instantaneous, while larger irregularities may need more than one treatment. Healing time is short, ranging from 2 to 4 days for skin tags to a couple of weeks for larger skin abnormalities such as telangiectasia, fibromas, cholesterol deposits or pustules. You may have a tiny scab depending on the size of the lesion treated for up to a week post treatment. If required another treatment may be performed after 3-4 weeks ensuring the treated area has completely healed.
