Permanent Hair Reduction is achieved over a number of sessions depending on the individual. Pulsed-light systems emit pulses of intense lamp-light into the hair follicles. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the follicles and converted to heat disabling the follicular cells responsible for growing new hair. Laser Vein Therapy for Legs and Face

Now men and women alike are making unsightly facial and leg veins a thing of the past with Cutera laser. No more painful injections! With the most advanced technology, our laser can safely and effectively treat both tiny superficial face veins and deeper blue leg veins of up to 4mm in diameter on men and women of all skin tones.

The Cutera laser delivers pulses of light energy which cause the blood within the vein to coagulate, eventually destroying the vessel which is later reabsorbed by your body. Blood flow will then be redirected to veins deeper below your skin’s surface, where it should be.

The cutera laser can remove unsightly veins from all parts of the body. Small, facial veins or dilated capillaries can be treated quickly without bruising or complication. Spider veins and large blue leg veins can be also treated with excellent results providing they are no larger than 4mm in width. Knotty varicose veins are not good candidates.

Often, clients find that one or two treatments are sufficient. However, the number of treatments necessary depends on the individual person and the number, colour, and size of the vessels being treated.

Most people experience a stinging sensation as the pulses of energy are delivered through the handpiece. Following the treatment, the pain is minimal to nonexistent.

Following your treatment, some redness or bruising may occur. When larger veins are treated, a tan or brownish pigment may persist for a few weeks or months following treatment. We prefer you avoid the sun on the treated area during this time. You may be advised to wear support hose for a short period of time.

You generally can resume most normal activities immediately. However, it is recommended that you avoid vigorous activities such as strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours after treatment. Using 50+ SPF and limit sun exposure on the treatment area.

You may see instant results with the majority of the treated veins showing significant improvement within two to six weeks of treatment. However the final results may not be apparent for several months. As we age new veins may appear so you may wish to have ‘top up’ treatments every year or so, or as required.
